May 31- August 30, 2012. DOWNTOWN GRASS VALLEY The Mill Street Certified Farmers Market is a Certified California Farmers Markets, so you will always find farm fresh produce, flowers and plants. Explore the many tastes of Nevada County. Farm Fresh Produce, Health, Wellness, Art & Craft is featured at this seasonal weekly market for local farmers, as well as- value added products, art, handicrafts and food. Sidewalk cafes feature fine dining under stars in the cool of the evening.

The Thursday Night Marketplace & Free Community Concert Series is a celebration of free enterprise and new ideas blended with heritage craftsmanship and art. Items from around the world and up in the hills. This heritage event in the heart of the Gold Country blends the town and country elements and attitudes of Nevada County. The Thursday Night Marketplace brings the local and regional community downtown to walk, browse, talk meet your friends and neighbors and enjoy our Sierra Summer Nights! National touring acts to locally produced all-star presentations will be featured this year on the Main Street City Hall Stage. This year we will also present local youth talent on the Auburn Street Stage. Our all-ages free concerts draw from a wide range of musical styles, from Blues & Americana to Global Rhythms. Join your neighbors, wear your dancing shoes or find a seat in the summer night twilight, unwrap your international festival food delights and enjoy a quality concert. You can get home by ten and still have the weekend ahead!
